Calling All Colors
Calling All Colors
Looking to get the Platinum edition but can't decide on the color combination. I am leaning towards white or silver exterior and the cashmere interior.
Any advice and pictures. Lots of pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Last thing. They took me on a test drive. ***** to the wall! Hands down the best test drive ever. WOT and repeated brake checks at 70 mph. Unreal!! Drive it like you stole it took on a whole new meaning. Did 45mph round and round a roundabout no less than 8 times around. Tires squalling, people staring. Crazy.

Storm Blue with camel interior. Looks like different colors in different angles.... But that's just me. With tint Looks even better. Helps to blend the black pillars with car.

I went white because I got tired of seeing every little scratch. When the clear coat gets scratched, it turns white and will match the paint, so out of sight, out of mind. My 7th gen was black and it drove me nuts. Loved it, but people just don't respected other people's cars anymore. I would get little dings and scratches all over the place. Annoying. Besides, white with black spoiler, diffuser and dark tint is an awesome contrast.
Yeah I had a dark blue Altima and let me tell you the AZ summers killed it in no time. So yeah white may be played out but for me I've been on the other side of the coin and I will go with white to help save me the embarrassment of oxidation down the road.

I had just finished seven years with my white '09 Premium, and was ready for a change, so chose the Brilliant Silver. That way, everything on the car is either silver or black. Seven of the cars I have owned over the last sixty-seven years have been silver. I did add a black diffuser, which sets the rear off nicely, and will be adding black hard rubber molding around the lip of the wheel wells, and small black mud flaps that will not be noticable, but will help keep gunk off the sides of the car. I will need rain guards, because I can't leave the windows up in the heat of middle Georgia without melting everything inside the car.
My second choice would have been white, with my third choice probably Storm Blue. My first four bids for a 2016 were turned down. That worked out for the best, because two of them were for a Coulis Red, and, although I like the red, it would now be my fifth choice with gunmetal as fourth.

Because of the intense heat here in middle Georgia, I have always preferred a lighter colored interior. I initially wanted the cashmere, but several folks here early on had the blue from their blue jeans staining the cashmere, so I changed my choice to charcoal.

I went with "superblack" exterior and grey/blue interior on my SR. I love the combination and contrast that the blue stitching provides...
but then again...I must also like the need to wash the car on a daily basis....
