So now that it's getting warm, I had my fan running in the car with the AC button turned off but the air coming out of the vents was still being cooled by the air-conditioner. I have a food thermometer inserted in the vent which measured the temperature of 40° which was below the outside air temperature of 55. I turned off the automatic button so it was manual fan control but the air coming out was still cooler than the outside air. I turn the whole system off and back on again and the air was still cold. I did this a few times and eventually the air compressor turned off and air coming out of the vents was around the same as the outside air temperature
