The Birth Of the 2016 Maxima

Was your Maxima given the VIP treatment like the one here in the assembly line?

That was a much better and closer view than we get when we tour the plant. There are a lot of parts that must be properly put in place to build a Maxima. Probably ten times as many parts than were in my 1949 Studebaker. Or even my 1953 Chevy. If I dropped a wrench while working in the engine compartment of those cars of yesterday, it would fall straight to the ground. If I dropped a wrench in the engine compartment one of these 2016 Maximas, I would probably never see it again.

I saw that video on YouTube. it's very interesting, however it doesn't seem very organized with the several employees all over the single car putting the pieces together unlike other car manufacturer, kind of make me wonder if they would miss out the screws or pieces should been there since I have been hearing a lot of fit and finish issues when it was rolling out the new generation.

My thoughts exactly after reading this months ago and watching that video.
