1.Why is it when I send a text message(directly from my phone or from the display screen) it appears on the screen a few seconds later? I do not want to see outgoing texts also arriving as incoming texts.

2. Why can't I custom text message from the display screen? Do certain wireless carriers allow this feature to be enabled?

Well to what I have experienced sometimes in your phone if its a group message it will do that. Also if you left something as a draft or if the message is left open in your phone it will do it. I have a galaxy note 4. I heard a lot of people have had issues with the iPhone's compatibility with the Maxima.

Nissan and Chrysler infotainment system are not compatiable with iPhone when it comes to text message. Only calls, incoming and outgoing, that's about it, but on other phones, they will work. that is a bummer when Nissan should have been ahead of the curve with the technology with phone compatibility.

I guess I should have been more specific. I own a Motorola Droid Turbo 2.

I once heard that the custom text feature is at the mercy of your wireless carrier, not Nissan or the type of phone you own..
