Turn off engine, not car

Is there a way? I know some other forums mention it was available on older MY Nissans.

Just in case the Title doesn't make sense.
If I get to work early, and I'm listening to the radio, I want to turn off the engine without turning off the car so as to avoid shutting of the radio.

More practically, If I'm on a bluetooth call, and want to do this, it ends the call instead of simply switching back to the handset.

No you cannot do the quick press on the ignition like you could on older generation Nissans.

I too wish this car had that feature. That's my main gripe. Otherwise love the car!

On my 2014 Mazda6, if you shifted the car into neutral and then hit the engine start/stop button, it would basically shut the car off except the radio. Then just shift into park like you normally would. Give that a shot?

If you guys are looking for the accesory setting you have to just push the button one time and u will see the light on the start/stop button come on. This is the accesory mode. Dont hold the button just press it one time it take a second for the radio to come on but as long as you see the light on the button turn on the radio will come on. Hope this helps.

That's great if the car is off, but if it's on you have to shut it down and then press it again to turn in car again.
Which shuts down everything like your phone call etc...

I think you can avoid that if you hit the push button twice in a quick enough time it should do it without shutting everything down

This thread is about trying to shut the car off without shutting off the radio. 7th generation cars could do this with a quick double push of the start button with the foot off the brake while the car was running, and the radio would stay on.

I'm highly surprised that this is not a built in feature in this high tech car. My 7 year old Dodge Ram has it. Turn off the ignition the radio and Bluetooth continue to work for as many minutes that I program into my personal settings, then the radio turns off when I open the door. Nissan is continually behind the curve with their electronics features compared with other manufacturers.
