Looking around for used maxima base models

Ive been looking around nationwide, I dont plan on purchasing until either early next year or late this year. So far I've surprisingly saw a lot for sale with 15,000 miles. Cheapest I've saw so far is right around $23,000 which I am assuming, as the year continues and into the new year, will only become more common and more affordable. Just wondering if some of you believe that will be the trend and I will be able to find more like that popping up in the next six months. Thanks!

Looking to hopefully be right around that $20,000 mark by the time I am ready which is looking like it will be doable with all these I see around 23,000 already. Kind of surprised to see so many already. Just as the 2017's begin to roll out on to the show room floor

The base model "S" you see for sale are most likely from Rental company's like National. Probably accounts for the somewhat high mileage too, since I read awhile ago that most drivers average 10K/year. Rental company's wouldn't get the higher trims.

that makes sense, I was kind of expecting that. Also, most leases are 3 years 36,000 miles (which I'm assuming most people lease higher trims) so the cars wont be returning from leases for another two years

No way, $18,000? Where was this located if you don't mind me asking? That's really really good to hear hopefully by the time I'm ready to buy in the next six months I see more of that around here.

That has to be almost 50% depreciation in one year. You really got a good buy.

i wouldn't say 50% depreciation on an S model. They go for $25K new (around me atleast)

Even at brand new 25k is really not too bad. Im hoping they will slowly fall a little further down as the 2017's roll out, though I know they are almost the exact same as the 2016's.. I'd really like to put a down payment of 40 percent on the vehicle before I am ready to purchase.. Dont mind if it has up to 35,000 miles on it when I buy. I know I will most likely get a car that was a rental car before hand doing this Unless I go for brand new

Great buy, most used prior rental S's are going for 23-26K with 14-17k miles! I wonder if it was in an accident priorly (hopefully not) as to why it was sold for so cheap with only 12k miles! 18k is excellent for the buyer but awful for resale for the Max, cheaper than as a new Sentra or cheaper than 4 cyl Altima S!

No accident(s) reported on the vehicle. Clean carfax. Car looks, smells and feels as if it's brand new. Anything less than perfect and I would not have considered it. Almost purchased a Honda Accord Sport but found this car instead. I'm glad I shopped around before finalizing my purchase.
