White SL is a head turner!

Long time forum member, first time poster here. I traded in my black 2009 Maxima on Saturday and upgraded to a 2016 Pearl White SL. I absolutely love this car! Really thought long and hard about the differences between the SL and the Platinum, but in the end went with the SL because it has a ton of features for the price and is loaded when compared to my 2009 S. (I was thinking SR Midnight going into this, but the lack of the moonroof on the SR was a deal breaker for me)

I've been a black car guy for the last 16 years, but there's something about the 8th gen in white that really speaks to me. She's bone stock at the moment and I don't know if I'll be doing anything to the car, but I've already had some great interactions at drive-thrus and with other drivers on the road. I even had a guy in a Maserati do a double take and get a good long look at the front end. I wasn't expecting that! (and I was doing the same to his car...hahaha)

I have to agree. I don't like white cars, except I think the new Maxima does look good in white.

In South Texas, getting a dark colored car is usually not a good idea since it's so hot. I've always had white or light colored vehicles. This is my first dark vehicle that I've owned (deep blue pearl) but the color was so beautiful that my wife gave me the go-ahead to buy it.

This is likely the color I will get when time comes. I might go with the 18" upgrade wheels though- going to have to have a dealer locate the car at this point anyway so may as well get it how i want it. Great color.

Absolutely love the white color on this car.

Just curious, as I just found out about it, I was not provided with wheel lock key in the glove box and the dealer he wants me to pay for it. I got an SL trim? Kinda surprised with that?

What a bunch of BS. Go back and ask again for the wheel lock.
