I stumbled across the feature detailed in the attached photo. I'd like to take advantage of this "learned Routes" feature but not sure how? Anyone have any idea what this means or how to use it?
As an example, I go to my mother in laws constantly. It learns the route to her house and tells me the traffic flow and ETA to arrive at the destination. I haven't used it on the Maxima but did have this feature on my QX56 that I traded in. I found it very useful and was very easy to use. Since the car may still be new, it may not have any of these learned routes yet. I've had mine for 3 weeks and none have been "learned" yet.
Right. Thats what I would suspect it does. But I was hoping to get some background around how it actually works - ie, after x number of drives along the same route, this route will appear as an option within the routes screen. Or where exactly do I go to access these routes? How long does it take to learn a route.
This would actually be super helpful for me as there are many different ways for me to get to and from my office. And all of the options could be the fastest on any given day when considering the variability in traffic. It would be great if the system would consider my preferred learned route when providing the "fastest" route option.
I've had my Max for just over a month now and it's not showing any indication of "learning" any routes.
