Cool Any turbo 2016 maximas?

Just got a GT-R and now it's pretty difficult to drive my 02 Maxima afterwards. I want to get a 2016 maxima as a daily driver, but I'd like to get as much power out of it as possible.

Anyone know if anyone has turbo'd one yet?

Last time anyone cared about this type of stuff in the Maximas was 10+ years ago. The new maximas are boring.

With the current transmission and an ECU and car that currently has no aftermarket performance support, why would anyone consider it?

IMO, the last Maxima worth boosting was the 2001 Max.

for the $$ you'd spend on getting a Maxima, getting it bolted (which may or may not be possible), and the guaranteed shop time you will have afterwards to replace the CVT etc, you would be better off getting like a Chevy SS, Charger Hellcat or 300 SRT8...just sayin

Different strokes for different folks. You have a few bolt ons which don't require any tuning or issues with the transmission. The OP is suggesting something quit different, forced induction.

The last guy who turbo'd a 7th gen Max said he did it just to do it, and has eaten up 2 CVT transmissions now on low boost.

Better off importing an R32 and building that.
