Had a semi-major ($10k) repair from a rear-end collision. So, the trunk lid required to be replaced as well.

After receiving car back from the shop, I noticed that something might be missing. Is there supposed to be a screw or something to secure the end(s) of the chrome piece? Or, is it just secured on the middle-section of the piece.

(I was looking up from the rear taking this photo.)

when i pulled mine off to wrap it i recall there being two plastic push pins near the center and a metal bolt near each edge. all four of these pieces were connected to the trim piece and then clipped in or bolted to the trunk.

i will notify the body shop about this... and other things.
haze on the paint (like those borealis)
broken bracket (for the emergency trunk latch opener)
no paint on the edges


which make it the third visit/drop off...
