Brake Pads change?

Hello there,

I'm just wondering to know if anyone has changed the front brake pads to Ceramic ones?

My car just has 9K km but there is a brake noise almost all the time when I hit the brake pedal.. So I'm thinking in getting a ceramic brake pads as I have heard it's much better than the regular ones.

Another question is I'm just curious to know guys what is the tires brand your Maxima came with?
Mine came with Bridgestone and I found it not comfortable enough especially when driving on Cats Eyes Road..

Thanks,

You shouldn't have brake noise with only 9k so I'd definitely have it checked out by your dealer. I had to have my brakes and rotors replaced recently due to a vibration at high speed when I tapped on the brakes.

My car came with Continental-brand tires.

Most new cars already come with ceramic brake pads. Throwing pads will unlikely resolve your issue. You need to have brakes inspected and find source of the noise.

Thank you guys. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow for inspection.

You have 9K kilometers, which is less than 6K miles. There should be NO brakes noise at such low mileage. You need to have your dealer find and fix the problem. Although the primary warranty on this car is 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, wear items such as brakes, windshield wiper blades, tires, etc, have different warranties, and you need to have this fixed before around 12K miles or around 20K kilometers.

My 2016 came with Continental tires, which are riding as smooth as glass at speeds the mods will not want me to post here. I love not having any trace of vibration at high speeds.
