Be aggressive with the dealers, they want to move them and probably have a incentive from Nissan to do so. Where are you located?

Thanks for this advice. I am in the same boat looking at the SL and Platinums myself. Just saw a PLAT for 34K

Well, if you're going to compare the rear ends of "sport" models, you should compare the Accord Sport to the Maxima SR midnight. More of an even playing field.

thanx for postin the side by side compare...right...not even close...the max wins out!! seriously, its personal preference and I love the tail n front of the max. my son just got a new civic touring and hey, I was very impressed with the interior and exterior of that baby...YMMV
