Picked Up A Black SR!

Well... after about 10 years with a Scion tC, I finally saved up enough to purchase this bad boy outright. I purchased it with 9,000 miles and I use a lot of forums so I figured I'd join this one.

A couple of questions though:

-Does anyone have problems with the remote start not working very well?
-Also, I get like a strange odor when I have the A/C on. It's not all the time but today was particularly bad.
-With this being my first black car I've been kind of freaking out about the black paint/swirl marks, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to take care of it properly to reduce marks?

Thanks everyone!!!

Looks great. Now you gotta get rid of the bottom chrome trim on the windows. I plastidipped mine.

Example of my car, but plenty others have done it as well. Black is a great color choice for the SR. Looks great with the wheels.

Congrats! Just purchased one as well and same color too!
My remote start has been pretty reliable so far. Arm the car then immediately press hold down the remote start button at the top of the key fob for about 3-5 seconds. As for the odor I haven't experienced that but I'd recommend taking it into Nissan service & have them take a look at it. Maybe they'll recommend changing the cabin air filter or something. I'm also extremely OCD and having a black car again hasn't been easy especially since my 2013 Maxima was silver but I decided to have Auto Butler applied which is a paint sealant that's applied every 6 months and so far so good. Avoid car washes that use brushes and use either a brushless wash or hand wash is what I'd recommend. Enjoy! This is one heck of a car!
