Just bought my first Nissan, a 2016 Maxima last week. The security indicator light on the dash is on, has been on since I test drove it. Service had it for a day and a half, said they reset it and it was fine. I picked up the car for delivery and it came right on and stays on after starting up the car. Car's fine, but the light stays on. Anyone with a similar issue? Last Nissan's really were Datsun's (B210 and a 210) just before they started selling under Nissan. Love the car, concerned about the security light staying on. Also none of my dash switch lights appear to be working, like around the Nav display and on the console. I turn on the switches, and the amber light will come on, but none of lights what show what the switches are come on except the ones on the doors. The adjustment for changing the light intensity seems to be working, at least for the Instrument cluster. I figure this may some switch I'm not familiar with?

 

The issue ended up being a pushed in pin on a plug for the immobilizer antenna, or at least that's what the dealer said. They had it a day and it's been fine every since, for that issue.
