Bluetooth anomaly

Hi! I have started to notice that my Bluetooth system assumes that a phone call is being placed when I receive a non-SMS notification from one of my apps. When I receive a notification, the "hang-up" selection appears on my infotainment system for a few seconds. It's becoming a nuisance since it interrupts any audio being played back through the speakers. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a solution to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

edit1: I have an iPhone 6 plus w/ iOS 10.0.1.

edit2: Just wanted to follow up. The notifications flowing to the infotainment center were so annoying that I decoupled my phone from my car. After a few days, I updated my iOS to v10.0.2 and reconnected to my car. So far it seems to have fixed the issue. Not sure if it was a glitch with the phone's software, the infotainment software, or both. I cannot definitively say that updating to 10.0.2 fixed it, but it seems like it did the trick. I will report back here of the issue arises again!
