Rattle eliminated

2017 Maxima SR

I had a rattle that I thought was coming from the front passenger door. Dealership said I need to have the front defroster panel replaced due to missing felt in the original which left a gap and caused the rattle. I didn't understand how a noise from the door would be fixed by replacing a dashboard piece. However, they were right as the noise has been eliminated. I still hear a small noise front the front passenger seat belt height adjuster but I can live with that?

Ah the infamous Maxima rattles, this car does have a few, especially in cold weather. Not worse than any other cars that I've been in, but because the interior is so quiet otherwise, every little thing stands out even more.

Glad you found a solution

I too have a rattle coming from the front passenger seat belt height adjuster area. When I push against the piece of plastic in this area the noise stops. Does anyone know how to remove this piece of interior trim?
