My bad for not being specific, I still have an catalytic converter but have removed resonator and muffler. Will be installing cold air intake within next 3 or 4 months. Haven't decided on brand yet. Any thoughts? Looking at stillen and k&n atm.

There are many on the road around my area. Most are black, white, or sliver.

I love it.

I absolutely love the sound of my car now. My pipes sound deep with a throaty growl. I will try and upload some videos of my car going down the road inside and out.

I live in Burbank California. I see like 2 per week.. sometimes at night Altima gets confused for Maxima but rear lights give it away. Not a lot of those and kinda like it.. makes it special

Yup, same. Although on a recent 1800 mile trip to see my relatives I did not even see one. Perhaps they are less common in the north.

Did a 750 mile round trip this week, to Maine- on my bike, not in the car, and saw exactly ONE 8th gen Maxima, a base model, in black with NY plates...saw more of my brand (Triumph) of motos by 3, over one Max

Over here on the beach, I see them occasionally but my new Maxima is the only Platinum I've seen.

driving to many locations this week on business here in New England, and the eighth gen Maxima count was zero...pull in for gas five miles from home, and the exact car I am picking up on Saturday, a pearl white w/ camel interior SR is parked next to me at the pumps...

What part of jersey? I’m in jersey also and I see them. Not as much as I see altimas but they aren’t a rare vehicle to see by me. Honestly starting to notice them more, as more used ones are becoming available.

I agree. I live on Long Island. Been car shopping for 3 weeks and narrowed it down to a Max about a week ago. Can't say I've seen more than 2. Everything is an Altima. Everyone happy with their car? Anything you don't like or are disappointed with?

I realize there might be better deals on a 2017 but I would hold out for a 2018 to get the passenger seat vertical power adjustment, that is if you are going for a Platinum. I hear the lower models for 18 do not have this. Best to ask your dealer

Since the 18s are out now and on their way to dealers, the discounts on 17s can be quite large. With the passenger seat riser being the only real change, would you trade thousands off a new car for a seat adjustment? I'm thinking one of these days you will be able to get that installed on a 17 and it won't cost multiple thousands of dollars.

Alll good points though best to have the person riding in the Pax seat to give a thumbs up on the floor hugging seating position before making the buy
