8th gen tuning info - Uprev + Moncef/Admin Tuning

Hey all, I have reached out to UpRev and Moncef at Admin Tuning. Both parties are telling me they can tune the 8th gens. They need someone to connect with the cable, do a dump and they will patch the ECU. Then Moncef can do the custom tune. I'd do this but I don't have an 8th yet.

THAT IS NOT TRUE I HAVE THE UPREV TUNE IT WILL NOT READ THE ECU. They full of s....th. Sorry but is true , if you have a sr is harder. I have the 800 tune kit and a 200 patch the you have to get for the maxima from uprev, no luck it cant do a dump and i had two pro tuners for Uprev with no luck Either xact dyno and ums here in az.

Just out of curiosity, why would an SR be harder than any of the other trims?

Because the ecu is completely different then other models, the SR has Integrated Dynamics control module with active ride control, active trace control, and active engine brake.

When did you talk to them last? I have been talking to Uprev and Moncef about this up until today, since middle of last week.

They say the ECU can be patched and then programmed.

They the told you you have to but a 200 patch to? I got the pro tuner kit and the patch bent in my garage for a year, for tuning here is 300 for dyno time. Also i have a 500 bully dog pro tuner waiting on bully dog As well, no luck with them, i just want to remove the throttle governor and top speed. Am going to see if can get my surface back from my sister, since i went to Mac. to take a video to show the i cant get a dump from my ecu.

Hmm, Strange. Can you still advance your timing 2 degrees with the bullydog?

I'm surprised no one is tuning this gen of Maxima.

I call my mike from uprev there are going to start working 100% on the maxima in January of the next year the problem they having is the maxima has two ecus the main and central so is not easy the price for me to do it here in az dyno tune is 800 for the uprev 200 for the special patch for maxima and 350 for dyno time a total of $1350. Not a bad way to spend it tune !!!

Need some help

Hi, I have a 2016 Maxima SV. I am going to order and uprev tune kit and I was wondering if you could wire it so when sport mode is enabled that the tune turns on then. I was also thinking about integrating and armytrix system so when sport mode is enabled it opens the exhaust for less restriction. Would this be possible? Is there anything I can do? Thanks!
