Stillen Rotors

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if buying these rotors would be worth it for my 2016 Max. Are there any benefits for installing these whether for performance or if they look better aesthetically? I tried looking up some cars with these installed but haven't been able to find any. Any information on these that you guys can provide for me would be great.

Thanks!

The first thing to note about slotted/drilled, they will eat up pads faster then the flat surface rotors. Most people only need to do their brakes one time before trading in, factory set then second set should get you 80-100k unless you're really hard on the brakes. But with performance rotors, you will be replacing pads more frequently. Also, don't think that they stay that much cooler. They do also warp over extended hard use, less metal, less strength. The point of using them is that they should perform better under extreme braking conditions; think track cornering conditions over an extended period of time. Other then that use, and of course look, most people will not benefit from them in daily driver conditions.

Think of performance brakes like performance tires, Track tires grip great, but they loose that soft tread over less miles then a street cruising tire, hence you are changing them very often. Just like if you put performance brakes to the limit, you will be replacing them often.

My opinion, you are paying a premium just for the name......Wonder which company makes them for Stillen and they put them in their box and triple the price. And what MADMAX said
