Screen issue?

Hey guys,

I parked my car outside today and it was extremely hot when I got into it, first thing I noticed was a circle blemish on my touch screen. I thought it was a reflection at first but it wasn't. So I turned on my A/C and went into my closed garage and let the car cool down and it took about 20 minutes for this thing to disappear. Any idea why this even happened? '16 max no warranty.

thanks

Stranger than fiction, but the 2016 Nissan Navigation manual page 1-3 has this to say:

Extreme temperature conditions below -4°F and above 158°F could affect the performance of the system.

I'm going to guess the interior of your car got very warm and caused your problem.

Very weird

I live in Riyadh, KSA and the temp here in summer can go over 50°c and it must be more inside the car

Summer 2016 and summer 2017 and never experienced any issue like this with the screen

it can get considerably hotter inside, especially in direct sunlight and if you have the black interior. Since the problem went away on its own I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

If you live in a sunny state, you may want to get tinted if you have not already

Bet the color of your cars are white or silver, predominantly. Plus major tinting.
