Window trim chrome delete - Before/After Pics

Added the 3M 1080 Gloss Black to the chrome window trim. I had plasti dipped the door handles a while ago. Plan to redo them with the wrap, just need some more practice. The 3m vinyl is very easy to work with, was able to get it all down on the 1st attempt, no bubbles.

I can appreciate the hard work you have done though I like the chrome trim and the shiny wheels. (The black has no contrast and the wheels always look dirty) Not flaming you here just offering some "contrast".

I assume that there are more colors that black. Which makes we wonder if other colors would work for covering the chrome and accent that black plastic piece on the rear pillar that keeps getting ripped off in the car wash.

No problem, I think so much of it was black trim that it looked off / odd with just those couple chrome pieces.

Yes, that 3M 1080 wrap (seems to be the go-to spec) comes in a ton of colors, patterns, etc. I bought mine from Cheetah Wraps but there are a bunch of other vendors obviously.

Great job! Is the 5ftX5ft size that's needed?

And don’t worry if your gloss black has these little blemishes. It goes away after being in the sun for a day (or applying heat). I was worried at first but then saw a couple Vids saying it was normal and was a result of the way the film rolls up on itself from the factory.
