Hi all Im new to the forum and have a problem. My radio and AC system controls all work fine. The screens for radio and AC control are lit up as they should be. But, I have no lights behind any of the buttons for either the radio or the AC system. I have checked the dimmer switch and it is on, and I can find any fuse for back lighting. Anyone have any ideas? I have a 2016 maxima, all stock, nothing has been done to it since purchase.

 

 

Check to see if your lights are set to Auto. Should be for your back-lit buttons to work. Reason I know is I just got my '17SL back from getting ABS actuator replaced under recall. While driving home at dusk I noticed some of my buttons, such as steering wheel heat were not on, and hey, it seems like my headlights are not on either. Sure enough, someone had changed the lighting control stalk from Auto to Manual. I changed it back and got my back-lit buttons working again (don't understand why that is), as well as headlights. DOH.

 

 

Hi is the above problem solved and how because i am facing the same issue now i have check all headlight on/off switch those works fine and only thing is none of the button lights not working

 

Following, same problem with the button lights on 2018 Maxima SV, no mods. Headlight option checked. Annoying.
