and a 17 infinity q50 w the 3.0t. Overall I知 glad I chose the maxima but damn that 3.0 twin turbo is FAST. I知 curious why infinity chose that motor instead of the badass 3.5? Any insight

Speed is fun, but if your stuck in the rat race like most of us, you'll just be even more frustrated when you have to cruise along at 45 like everyone else :-)

That said, the interior of the Maxima is a very nice place to spend some time , also

the Infiniti is starting to look a bit dated (imho)
the infinity has lower reliability ratings than the maxima
if you really want the "luxury" badge , there are better choices

It has much more torque and makes the car less nose-heavy. IMHO the Q50 was a fantastic sedan just a few years ago, but for some reason Nissan can't or won't update the interior and the tech, which have gotten embarrassingly behind the times (even modern economy cars have android auto, apple carplay, four-way lumbar, cooled seats, etc.)

I did not find the Q50 to be that fast, I was disappointed when I drove it. I am sure the Red Sport would be a different animal. There is no comparison between the 2 in the interior. Max destroys it, especially if the Q has the AWFUL LEATHERETTE

Mine has cooled seats. It is the Platinum trim so maybe that's the difference?
