Considering 2019 SR with Premium Package.

I have a 2017 Maxima Platinum with Medallion Package in Pearl White and considering trading in for a 2019 SR with Premium Package now that the Dual Panel Panoramic Moonroof is available in this trim. Can anyone confirm that the 2019 SR with Premium Package has memory driver seats along with adjustable motorized steering wheel? I like the new aggressive look of the 2019 SR over the Platinum.

Pretty sure no, the Platinum is the only one with the memory settings.

That said, dude, if you're trading in a 2 year old car, you should seriously consider leasing from here on out. Clearly you're not satisfied with a car after a period of time...the money you're losing with the tradin is a lot worse then if you were leasing. If you release with Nissan, I think they can waive as much as 6 months or more of the previous lease, and waive the damage and disposition fee. You could drive a less then 2 year old car for about $450 a month f(zero down) or the rest of your life.

Yup trade in is terrible on this car and BIG loss. 17 Platinum here bought brand new at the time. Local dealer was willing to give $22-$23k for it with 12,5xx miles. I passed. If you don’t plan on keeping the Maxima. This is a car you don’t want to buy and instead lease it.

I forgot to mention that my car is a corporate 3-year lease that was signed back on 7/2017. I spoke with a rep at Nissan and they are no longer buying out the last year of your lease on Nissan Altimas or Maximas. Looks like I will wait until the last 3 months (4/2020) to make a move. Hopefully, the complete resign is out by then.

That is your best move! Meanwhile tell your Nissan rep what you want to do in the future and maybe something like a decent deal will appear between now and then. Incentives do change by the month though you are still upside down on this lease for at least 6 months or more. Good luck and please report back if you do this deal.

Well said! I will have another page to add when my ordered 2019 Platinue arrives in early March. If the decent lease numbers are not there, well neither am I!

I got lucky when upgrading to a 19 SR from my 17 SR it came in at $19-20k trade in ended up getting $26,500 it was crappy and snowing all day here in Colorado and the dealer hadn’t sold one vehicle that day and they where desperate so their loss I guess. But yes trade in value is definitely trash.

Yup. If by 'resign', you are meaning 'redesign', then R1600Turbo is on top of this as usual. I personally feel the next redesign (9th generation) will arrive in 2022 as the 2023 model year. But I will change my feeling if R1600Turbo says otherwise.

trust me - the “9th gen” will not be what you think.
If people want a maxima as we know it, this version is basically it.
