Has Nissan ever updated audio system software?
I have a 2017 Platinum and I was wondering if Nissan has ever updated the audio system software. Not that there is anything majorly wrong but stuff that a software update could easily fix. Like being able to use the scroll wheel in the weather map and an easier way to find a sports team in the sports section.
I know there are no OTA updates for the 2017s so I’m wondering if there are any dealer applied updates.
Thanks.

Yes they do. BUT, it’s in the newer navigation card you buy.
The update page shows version 10.5 is available for the 2017 Maxima. It doesn’t expressly state there are updates other than to the navigation system (like the audio software). This is what it says:
The latest Nissan navigation update provides enhanced routing accuracy throughout the United States and Canada. Each update features new and modified roads, junctions, exits, points of interest, and much more. On average, 40,000 turn restrictions, 30,000 one-way streets, and 14,000 road signs are updated every year—and that's in the United States alone. Each road segment includes up to 260 unique data attributes. Stay on course and on time. Update your Nissan navigation system map today.
