Stolen Vehicle Locator or better option?

So Stolen Vehicle Locator a feature of my NissanConnect Services Premium trial that came with my '18 Platinum and will be ending in another month or so. Just wondering what you guys out there are using, would recommend. I've had Lojack in prior cars, but wonder if there are better options out there versus Nissan's Stolen Vehicle Locator. Appreciate in advance!

I just hope the car isn't ever found.
Why would you want to locate it?

Gotta side with Lindros on this one. You just know a stolen car will be punished very hard and no longer what it was before such an event. They can have it!

I had a beautiful 1998 Audi A4 that was stolen.
As much as people joke about "vehicle equipped with Millennial anti-theft device" [picture of H-gate / manual shifter], the scum who stole my car speed shifted and destroyed the clutch, linkage, and everything else.

They drilled through the doors - car had no chance.
Mind you, it lasted another 80k miles (amazing) but wasn't ever the same.

Fair question lindros2. Here's why: Because as I've learned from multiple law enforcement officials, the majority of the time cars are stolen the thieves suspect they may have some type of device in them to alert the owner and subsequently the police that allows it to be tracked, e.g. Lojack or similar. So they will drive it to a open, public place -- such as a shopping mall lot -- and leave it there for 2-3 days. If no one's retrieved it by then, they know it has no tracking type of device in it. At that point, they feel safe taking it to a chop shop. So...the thought of having a tracking device is the very good likelihood of safely retrieving your car the day it's stolen or the day after.

But if car got stolen and no one can find it. You can claim it and insurance will pay the bank or you.

What if they the car gets stolen and for some reason thieve decides to leave it. You don’t know how he drove maybe he damaged the suspension or something else.

Yeah just like my iPhone that was stolen. Find my Phone... Meraki MDM... didn't matter.
It's now in use in Nigeria (true, I tracked it before it was reset).
