Thule roof rack

Has anybody successfully modified any Thule roof rack brackets from a different car to fit the 8th gen? Thule has official fitment on the 7th gen but not the 8th gen for some reason, which is odd to me.

Seems like something surely could be modified to fit.

Roof Rack

Just checking to see if anyone has a roof rack for their 8th generation. Thule says no roof rack adapter as of today. Any suggestions ?

Just in case anyone was checking, if you have the panoramic roof you cannot put a roof rack on...went to a number of manufacturers and it was a resounding no..

I am looking for the same. I have a Platinum model with panoramic sunroof.
Did someone tried this one?

It says that can be used on Naked Roof With Glass Roof / Without Glass Roof
I need to carry a kayak, and I cannot find a way.

Wrong car for a refugee rack or towing. Best way is to get the SUV from the git-go. The lateral wind stress and flutter would make the glass susceptible to breakage.

Thank you, but that was not the question. This car is my commute and the only I have. I'd like, when needed, to have the option to transport some other stuff on it. I can install a hitch and tow an aluminum trailer with racks for kayaks. I just want the have an easier option.
Thank you again

Best of luck to you on how to solve this issue. Putting a roof rack on this car with a full glass sunroof just does not seem feasible at all. Not what you want to hear but could be a very costly mistake. In the end, the trailer seems like the best way to handle this. Ironically a couple of days ago, I saw a late model Honda Civic with 2 kayaks on a roof rack. At 65 mph you could see the roof "oil canning" on flexing under the load. Your glass will just explode in a very short time.

I just stumbled on the below rack that might work for your car.... its from rhino racks. I only know because i might be adding it to my car so I can take our bikes with us when we go riding...
