Door locks and front sensor

Door locks and front sensor
Hey! I’ve been having problems with my door locks. Sometimes they work sometimes they don’t. The only door lock that’s been working is the back door behind the drivers seat and the others won’t work. This past weekend the drivers door lock and the other back door lock are trying to work. I have taken the door panels off and lubed up the mechanical parts but still they’ll only work intermittent. I’ve also checked the fuse for the door locks and they’re fine. If that wasn’t enough now the front driver side sensor is going off when at a complete stop and nothing is around to make it go off. Please, any advice is greatly appreciated: forgot to mention it’s a 2016 maxima platinum.

One of the real simple things to do first is reset your BMC by disconnecting both battery leads for a half hour. While they are disconnected touch the two cables ends together to bleed our any residual current in the system. Reconnect the cables back to the battery and see if the problem is still there. This is the same thing you would do to your cell phone if it was giving you problems, removing the battery, to do a hard reset.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. The only current that needs "bleeding" is that stored in capacitors, and those will de-energize over time.

The button will unlock the ones that decide to work, I think it’s the lock actuator that needs replacing on three of my doors. I have a mechanic that’s going to look at it next week so hopefully I’ll know for sure what my problem is.

I think all the "Manual" interior door lock and unlock tabs just send a signal to the computer and are not mechanically connected to the actual door lock/unlock mechanism, which is why the tabs don't activate when you unlock the doors with the external button or the buttons on the armrests. The actual unlocking mechanisms are all are connected by a CAN bus (I think that's the name) which is why it might be worthwhile to reset the computer. Hopefully your mechanic has a network (CANbus) analyzer!

I am having this exact issue with my 2009.

All four are now messed up. The mechanic flaked on me and hasn’t returned any of my messages. Luckily I hadn’t paid him any $$. I’m still at a loss.
As for the sensor constantly going off when stopped, it was dirty so at least that is fixed.
