Are the radar sensors sensative?

I have a 2017 maxima sl. Im wondering if something is wrong with my sensors. My wife has a toyota rav4 with safety sense and im not sure how their system works but i notice my car disables the system alot, my wifes toyota never disables the system. Im not sure if this is normal but it seems whenever there is slight rain or a little bit of snow that the system disables itself. It will enable itself after awhile and then disable awhile after.

Is the maxima radar system that sensitive to others here?

It happens on mine when we get heavy wet snow and with rain it’s gotta be pouring like hell for it to disable. I believe it happened only twice to me in 3 years with rain. Happened a few times with wet snow.

2017 SL and every time i merge into the freeway here in NYC either I95 OR THE FDR DRIVE mines disables briefly then they activate within minutes, never in rain or snow.

Mine is at the dealership at this very moment for a similar issue. They said there's a TSB which requires some new parts. Sometimes when it rains or even on dry days I'll get a message that front collision warning is disabled because the sensor is obstructed.
