vibration and rattling.

I just bought used 2017 maxima platinum. Love the drive.

I have been noticing obvious vibration while accelerating between 20-40 miles constant and at times at higher speed too. This was previous rental but certified nissan car. Went to shop and he thought it was tire rotation and alignment but that did not fix problem. One thing i see , car came with very low brand tire - ironman brand.

Dealer do not see any vibration with driving.

anyone has idea or same experience.

Arghh! A rental car can be a great deal or more likely "bad news!". These rental units live a thousand lives with drivers that don't really care if the clobber a curb, etc. As you may notice, the wheels extend near the edge of the tire and it is very difficult to judge when parking (unless you have a Platinum with the parking cameras) Most these cars usually have the wheels reconditioned for cosmetics ...but that does not mean they are not bent. Also check the suspension for any damage as well. I do agree, the bargain basement tires could also be an issue since internal broken cords might be the result of previous curb incursions and tough to see. Hopefully you got a great deal on the car but you might end up spending a pile on getting the car right. You mentioned the car was "certified". What is covered?

Best of luck as you have a distinctively designed car that is just now being copied by the competition.

maxima

It was checked by all aspect by nissan dealership and independent dealership about damage to suspension or rim. transmission fluid was leaking which dealer fixed it.

its certified and still under bumper to bumper for 3000 miles and 100000 power train warranty.

tires new are worth 270 bucks online price at walmart but still can go longer .

just wondering is it worth spending money for tire to get vibration out or not?

How much pressure do you have in those tires? Some dealerships overinflate by a lot.

Eh, that doesn't seem too bad, unless it gets a lot higher when you drive. It's supposed to be at 33, a few PSI higher is ok.
