Need to Replace Windshield on my'17

This is a first for me on my 2017 Platinum. Is there anything special I should know or request from the glass company? Will they give me what I need out of the box? Do I need anything else done like for the 360 View, etc? I wnat to make sute that the best quality replacemtn is used.

Right now, I am leaning toward using Safelite. But I am open to suggestions. I am located in Central Florida. My insurance covers the entire service.

I found a couple of threads on windshields but most seem to cover DIY jobs and repairs versus replacement.

Thanks for any thoughts.

I have had to have the windshield replaced on my 7th generation Maxima and used Safelite. I insisted on using an Nissan windshield for the replacement instead of an aftermarket which is what the insurance company wanted. I had to pay the cost difference between the two windshields but it was worth it to get the Nissan windshield.

Safelite did an excellent job and will use them again if I ever have to replace another windshield. They were quick and cleaned up when the job was over. The car was cleaner after they had finished than when they started.

The windshield has nothing to do with the 360 degree view.

Safelite is a solid option, but also check with your dealer or a specialty shop for OEM availability. Since insurance covers it, request the best quality replacement.
You just gave advice to a thread that's over 5 years old. I'm sure he replaced his windshield by now.
