Engine Light On?

I have a 2016 nissan maxima and the engine light is on. When I go to the dashboard there are no warnings. The system is saying I need an oil change and tire, but psi's are all good according to the dashboard. I have 32,000 miles and the next oil change is at 34700 miles.

Perhaps you mean the maintenance reminder light? It can be set to whatever interval you like. Another forum member has usefully provided the section of the owners manual where this is covered.

Sorry I missed this one. I do have an excuse....the wife and I have been busy wasting money in Las Vegas over the Holiday weekend. I don't mind spending $$$, but some times you just have to complain. 108° heat during the day, and a 16 oz bottle of cold Dasani water was $9.00 a bottle at Caesars Palace. Oh, by the way, I did ask. Caesar did not live here.

On a related note, I do wonder why people never look within the pages of the owners manual.

$9 water would make me wonder "Is heatstroke really that bad...?"

As for why people don't read their manuals, I believe its generational for the most part. I'm used to reading manuals because Google didn't exist for a good portion of my life. Manuals are all we had back in the day. Now, the internet is the first place people go for answers.
