First Race...Ridiculous.

2018 Max...I'm at a red light and an Audi (A series I think not sure exactly what) pulls up next to me. I knew he was going to hit it so I was ready. Light turns green I had a slightly better reaction time and got the jump. He was glued on my right rear quarter panel till 80. Oh yeah the speed limit was 40. Pretty stupid and impulsive but it was fun. I don't plan on doing that again but with this car I see its pretty easy to get in trouble without some self discipline. If anybody wants to call me an idiot feel free... I agree. On the other hand who else has raced and how did it go??

Ask and you shall receive - - You were only half the IDIOTS in that race. Where are the police when you need them.

Not too cool in a 40mph-type zone, but I must admit I've done such sheet out on the interstate but only for short bursts, say from 65 to 85, then back her down. That 300HP CVT will leave even some big boys searching for gears while I truck on ahead and smile. No, I'm not cool when I do this either. Maybe even very stupid for a 73 year old man/boy, but I may not have that many smiles left in me!

I'm too old to be racing, but I found that my car could go fast on the highway pretty easily when I was rushing to the hospital last year.

Ditto. It seems that every other day we see spectacular car crashes, often with serious injury if not fatalities involving innocent bystanders, from street racers. Just as bad are drunk drivers. I understand the thrill but have some self-control... please.
