8th tune?

Hey guys ive been reading some old threads about tunes on the 8th gen and saw that some tuning companies where working on a tune for it, has there been any success in getting one tuned?

Why would you want to "tune" a bone stock Maxima? My suggestion is to leave it alone and enjoy it for what it is. There is a reason why there is no aftermarket performance support for these cars....

Sage advice here. Wrong car if you are a serious boy racer. Still it is one fine looking grocery getter! And fast enough for most of us.

nothing else you can do to it, without destroying your CVT Trans, let it go do not even try looking for TUNES.

I'll have to disagree with part of this statement. The Max is not a "fine grocery getter" - well of course I use it to go buy my groceries with it, but that's not why I bought it. It is an elegant, fine, powerful, stable, comfortable and safe highway/interstate cruiser, that's where it really shines.

As for tuning ... I see absolutely no need for that. It's good enough without any tuning, and as others have stated, attempting to tune it would probably damage it.
