2019 Maxima Platinum Rattle

Hi all,

I just picked up a 2019 new Maxima and am experiencing the rattle in the below videos at anywhere from 30mph on smooth roads to 70 mph on bumpy roads. The sound is much more distinct on my phone. Its a quick tinny sounding creak:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=18M...axp5ouA3RPWIMx

https://drive.google.com/open?id=16t...g3nuRLxFmJsgnW

This sound is happening by my ear as driver and also on the opposite passenger side near seat belt housing/door area. When I brace the top trim of the door the creak appears to become less audible or not happen at all. I've looked at several rattle threads but do not feel like I am any closer to understanding what is causing this. Dealer was unable to locate/reproduce the issue after bring it in and showing them videos. I like the car but so far am very disappointed with the creaky/rattleness of this car. Please help! Any info is appreciated.

Thank you.

Can't open your videos with my brand new gaming computer. Just sits there and buffers.

Can you try viewing them on your phone? I also noticed when viewing on the PC it is not very audible, but I recorded these with my phone and they are very audible on the phone. I don't have the means of cleaning them up to isolate the sound.

Sounds like you got a nail in your tire. Try looking at your tires.

unfortunately this car is very prone to rattle, especially in cold weather, lots of plastic against metal parts that contact and like to make noise. The cabin is so quiet otherwise, that I think it makes every little noise stand out that much more

Nissan's in General are very noisy in the cold....Lots of cheap plastics.....My 2012 SR is much better than my 02SE was in the cold as far as creaks and squeaks. The Max has much better materials, I would think it would be the quietest of the Nissan line up as far as this issue

I agree. Creaks and rattles really stand out in this car. Its very annoying to me.

I did find this person on youtube who is holding his phone up to the same area on a 2017. If you crank the volume to max I can make out the same ticking. Or at least I think thats what I hear. In the comments he says it ended up being the rocker panel? I will see if dealer can take a look
