Radio carplay!!!

I have a 2016 maxima SR and im going to buy a radio part # 25915-9DD1B which comes with a 2017 models and up, not mine, the guy is telling me he bought a new sd card for the radio and was programmed for his his radio with his vin#,

will this work on my car ?

I'm afraid there are too many unknowns here for any of us to say for sure. Don't buy this on a guess unless you can return it and/or your system to its original config. if it does not work.

I have ‘16 SL and put a ‘17 radio in mine. I believe your SR has Bose radio like mine so you have to make sure the radio you get is a Bose or it will not work.
