Question Does the 2019 have better clearance?

I love my Maxima, but I'm getting kinda tired of scraping the bottom just about everywhere I go. Here in Florida, lots of driveways have a slope at the end and I keep scraping the bottom of the front fender. One of these days I'm afraid it's gonna tear it right off. Usually I have to enter at an angle but it's not always possible. I don't have it lowered, just normal clearance and 18 inch wheels (2017 platinum)

the 2019+ seems to have a higher lip on the front. Does that improve the clearance, or has anyone noticed a difference?

I have a suggestion. Drive your 2017 to a local Nissan dealer that has a 2019> in stock. Using a measuring device of your choosing, measure the distance on your car vs. the newer car on the dealers lot.

You will then have your answer.

My 19 seems to be tapered higher at each corner of the front spoiler since I can get into steeper driveways with out the rubbing I used to get with my departed 2016.
