First off, performance is not my concern at all. I'm sticking with 18's and don't want anything bigger.

Newbie to a Newbie..... All those wheels are ugly man..... And if you are thinking about getting something with a lip yo have to bigger than 18's especially if it black with a polished lip. It will look like your rolling on 16's or 17's.... I am respectfully telling you if you want something with a lip you Have to go bigger than 18's because the maxima is a big car. Nothing is worse than seeing a big car and small wheels
will 19's do, i don't want to sacrifice too much comfort. please post some suggestions. i don't need a lip, that's what most of them have that i've come across. i don't have a clue as to what will look good. i'm new to all this. i drove a raggedy '93 Altima for 10 yrs before getting this.
if you're going for looks when it comes to wheels, you'll probably want something bigger than stock.. 20's look good, and don't look over the top.. like rudeboy said, a lot of wheels look smaller than they are.. for some reason the stock 18's don't.. I guess it's the lip though.. of course, it's all up to you in the end.. personally, I'd go for something lightweight too.. stock wheels are too heavy, if you ask me.
Especially if you said "performance is not my concern at all" then why not go bigger? If you were concerned about performance then you'd stay smaller/lighter. Even with 20's lowered on Eibach's the car still rides really smooth...
And of all those rims the only one I'd even consider would be #2. But take your time, it's a big purchase and there's alot of wheels out there. I'm on my 3rd differetn set since I've had the car!
Here's me now:

And SickSE, you don't have to spend a crap load of money to get a nice wheel, just gotta shop around!

those look nice. what kind are they? i don't think dropping my car is an option. the roads are too terrible here and i have to drive it in the winter, the underneath would be in pieces.
how stiff is the ride in 20's, i've heard it'll make you feel every pot hole, there are tons of them here.

I have 20's, and the ride is not too bad. You get used to it after a few days. The handling is WAY improved with the 20's. When I put my stock 18's on for winter I almost wrecked because I was taking turns too fast for the stockies to handle....gotta adjust....but like I said, it only takes a couple days.
As for bad roads???......I live in Pennsylvania, and we have the worst roads ON THE PLANET.

IMO if you go 19's then go 20's because 19's are such an odd size that 19" tires actually cost more than 20's. I still have 18's as well and in my opinion, the first rim looks the best if you're going for the bling factor...

They are Enkei LX-M's, $250 per wheel. You can drop your car anywhere you live, you just need to adjust your driving habits a bit!!! It's not that the ride is that much stiffer, lowering will change that, I noticed more road noise first thing..

Whatever you go with. Don't sell the stocks like I did. The winter salt causes major corrosion on polished aluminum.(not sure about chrome) Put your stocks back on for the winter.
I went w/ 18's and wished I had gone to 20's. Next time around I'll do things different.

Here are some more pics. Haven't dropped 'er yet.
I like the black, don't think I would go any other way with a black car. But I think you need to mix it up with chrome/polished aluminum lip.
