Anyone have any success with a D.I.Y. for the Exterior Ground Lighting kit? Does it come with the connector harness for the wires to plug in to the passenger side or does the kit have to be spliced/ hardwired?

 

Here is a link that has the instructions. The accessory connector doesn't come with them, and you would need 2 unless there is already an accessory that uses this plug (illuminated kick plates for example). They are like $10-15 each, so not much compared to price of whole kit. If anything, it's gives you the instructions on what wires need tapped.

This was actually a fairly easy install DIY. The hardest part was removing the glove box to get to the passenger side connector. Everything was easy, especially for someone who does a lot of their own work on cars.
