A quart of coolant at 14k miles?
Here is my take on this. Your invoice lists "1 Quart" of antrfreeze, because of the billing at that dealership. I highly doubt that 1 quart was put into your car.
I see it more as a product accountability and inventory issue, not a mechanical issue.
Keep an eye on your overflow reservoir, and add distilled water as needed to refill.

They didn't charge me for it. The dealer I got my maxima from does free oil changes and free fluid top offs. Also, they specifically told me they put a quart of coolant in. I asked if that was normal and they said it wasnt uncommon for Nissans. I understand they probably/maybe bill nissan for it, but they still pointed out that they put a quart of coolant in
I call BULL!
I don't know. I had to add coolant to my 2002 SE from time to time, I had to add coolant to my 2012 Quest and 2012 Altima SR. All have the VQ. I do not remember ever having to add coolant at the 14K mile mark though
If it consumes more coolant, I would get a second top up on record with the dealer, then request a cooling system pressure test. Could be a simple as a cracked overflow bottle or a more serious head gasket or just a hose leak .
