A kick when accelerating from coasting

I have 2017 Nissan Maxima platinum. I’m experiencing a noticeable kick when accelerating from coasting at certain speed (around 40 miles).

I also have a weird noise when the car is under load with the AC on exactly at 1100 rpm, only in gears (drive or reverse)

you can hear the noise by putting the car in to drive and holding the break by one foot and accelerating to 1100 rpm by the other with the AC on.

Worth a look at your dealer to rule out any impending failures. How many miles on this rig?

35000 miles. The dealer is terrible and I don’t trust them.

Since you have a warranty I'd try another dealer if possible. Good luck1

If he bought it before July 24, 2017, he might just be fresh out of warranty.

Not "out of warranty" if it is a CVT problem.

Powertrain warranty is 60 months / 60,000 miles.

Thanks, Rick, I had forgotten this fact. No reason for this OP not to find a different dealer
