Track Times
So i finally went to the track this past weekend with my 2017 Nissan Maxima 3.5cvt , she ran 14.04, 14.11 all day long. What can I do to get her into the 13's? All it really has done under the hood is a cold air intake. I am open for all suggestions!!!
just saying.....These are not your maxima's of yesteryear....
I'm no track expert but I know that weight kills, so loose as much weight as possible, tires/wheels, gasoline, junk in the trunk, keep all electronics off. A better exhaust. Practice your reaction timing.
BTW what was your MPH at the end of the runs?

I'm curious. Why is it so important that you can say your Maxima ran a 13.99? So you can say your Max runs "13's"?
And the CAI that you speak of is really a hybrid of CAI/HAI assuming you have a Stillen intake or similar.
Go on a super cold night
Don't hotlap
As Richard66 said, shed as much weight as possible. Ditch the passenger seat, rear seats, floormats, spare tire, tools etc. Go with a quarter tank of gas.
Get lighter rims
Wear your birthday suit, much lighter
