Exclamation ECU Maybe?

So my '17 started to hesitate to start (but still started) for 2 days. So I went and got my battery & alternator checked... both tested perfect. On the third day, I had to jump it off every time I cut it off(Just twice on day 3). On the fourth day, I jumped it off once and it threw a P062F code.. reading "Internal Control Module EEPROM Malfunction". Later that day when I jumped it off, CEL was not on (im assuming bc of the "dead" battery. So should I be looking at ECU replacement or maybe just a bad battery testing good? Still a factory battery.

Factory batteries were underpowered from the beginning. Start there 1st and make sure cables are cleaned

By "hesitate to start", you mean the starter won't turn over the engine, and that this problem is intermittent, and this is why you suspect the battery or starter system?

It took a few seconds longer to start, but it started on its own. Now It has to be jumped to be started. It runs fine when its started but when I cut it off, I have to jump it again.

Almost definitely the battery if jump starting works every time. Doesn't matter if it tested fine or not.

That or the connections from negative post to chassis or corrosion somewhere, etc.

Did you solve your problem by replacing your battery?
