Hi filks. Has anyone else had a problem with their door handle freezing solid and unable to move? After my 2016 Plat gets wet, the passenger will freeze and will not swive making it impossible to open the door.. I have sprayed deicer on the joint where it enters the door and along the bottom of the window without success. Dealler is not interested and blames the weather rather than a defect or poor design. Any ideas how to fix

 

I'd consider using WD 40 though you may have to get the car defrosted in a heated garage 1st, then apply the WD 40. (which is a water displacer)I t would be easier just to remove the door panel and administer the juice that way. As an alternate, you might try an auto glass shop to pull the panel off.
