Rotors and pads recommendation needed?

I have a factory 2018 SR and wanted to replace the rotors and pads with something a little better. This car is my daily driver so i don’t need to to stop a lot better, mainly want some rotors that won’t warp. I have been looking at the Brembo non slotted and drilled rotors with pads. It’s a fairly cheap option but I wanted to make sure this is a good choice. Thanks in advance.

I have had great luck with Rock Auto's Wagner/Bendix/Powerstop brakes and rotors. What ever is on sale. Never had them warp and pulsate like NIssan OEMs. Used them for every brake job I have done since 2001.

I second this, look on RockAuto for pads and brakes. Good variety and balance of cost/quality

Goodluck.

I did my brakes on my 17 SR with aftermarket even though countless people told me to go OEM with nissans.

Needless to say out of 12 cars I have owned and done brakes on in my life, I almost took a sledge hammer to my maxima it went horribly wrong. after tossing out all of the aftermarket parts because I smashed them, I purchased OEM and went on smoothly.

Lesson learned, for my '20 SR OEM all the way.

So again goodluck, I Hope you have no troubles I see some have issues and some do not. I guess thats what happens when this car is built in Tennessee by rejects. I have said it multiple times, and I will always say it because the build quality of these cars is horrible and everyone in that Tennessee plant should be ashamed of themselves... but they're not because what? $60? $100 an hour? and cheap nissan parts makes them sleep at night for putting this car together like crap

Great idea! Do you need to change the calipers too?

Yes, change the calipers too. I did this to myself. The rotors are not deformed and the efficiency of the brake system has improved.

I agree that the factory Nissan brakes are just average. Nice to know this is an option. Part numbers needed if anyone is going to try this?

Brake upgrade suggestions

This is somewhat related. But does anyone know a good brake upgrade option? If not does anyone know a good option for improved stopping power? I need to change my brake and rotors on my 18 Maxima SR and am thinking on some options.
