Brembo X-drilled only or Slotted only Rotors?

I did some research and need some help.

Should I get Brembo Cross drilled only rotors or Brembo Slotted Rotors.

I am getting the GD from AutoMax_95.

I drive mainly on the highway but street driving aswell.

I'm thinking about getting Raybesto's quiet stop brake pads. ($90 set (4 pads))
what pads are best with these rotors for regular driving. (any recomendations on pads?)

Which rotors last longer? I don't want my pads and rotors to get warped quickly. Which do you prefer?

Thanks

If you want the bling bling factor go for cross drill alone. I've had Brembo cross drill and slotted rotors on all for corners for many years and slowly over time I've grown not to like them, I just got tired of the wind mill sound when slowing down. At the time I got them I also wanted the bling bling factor. Within the past couple months I've replaced all of them with OEM blanks and I'll never look back.

My $0.02

Are cross drilled/slotted rotors specifically only for bling bling? I thought they actually were better in performance and durability. The main purpose is to use these rotors without warping or changing pads for a long time. $$$ is actually an issue aswell. $300 for all 4 rotors(xdrilled) + 4 pads is the cheapest and most efficient I could find.

still waiting on cross drilled or slotted rotor opinions?

I need to buy them this week..my brakes are bad!

The only problem with getting cross-drilled or slotted rotors or anything other than blanks cannot be resurfaced. So, if they warp, you'll have to buy new rotors. Also cross-drilled are somewhat prone to cracking, but that doesn't really happen under normal braking conditions.

I have the power slot rotors and hawk pads and it's a real good combo, which I like.

I got the same Brembo blanks. I decided to use slotted only due to the number of freinds with cracked rotors that had been crossdrilled. I have had no problems at all. I used EBC greens for pads. Automax is awesome. If they are still offering zinc plating, do it. It really makes a difference on the occassional rust on the rotors after they get wet and are not being used.

I've got the cross drilled rotors. Love them but i think that they are alittle to small for my rims. If you are going for the bling bling factor get these, they make car look good.
But if you want something that makes you stop, go with the cobra rotor/300zx caliper upgrade. Which i will probably do sooner or later.
