I want more! power!

Does anyone know of any good performance chips if any? Looking to increase hp without cutting wires or modifications to the engine other than intake…

Performance "chips" = snake oil. Enjoy your car for what it is, a 4 door grocery getter that gets you comfortably and in style from point A to point B.

Although I’m in complete agreement with our Super Moderator’s reply, I’m wondering why you want/need more than 300 Hp in your four door sedan and how much Hp you feel you need.

Great car "as is". Total waste of money to try to get more HP. The CVT is just not made for much more than 300 hp at least till it breaks.

Don't forget to press the 'sport' button. It might not increase HP, but it sure does increase the rate of acceleration.

Even if you find more HP somewhere......better have a spare CVT handy. I am not saying they are garbage.....well never mind.....yes I am

I’m looking for more power too. I just ordered this chip but have not received yet. I’m also ordering the K&N short ram intake for a few extra horsepower. Have you had any luck with your search?

Unless you plan to change the Tran fluid every 10k miles beating up every Stop Light, and high RPM pedal-shifting, and new Tran about 100k miles…… go for it !!!

The CVT - alone, not built for it….

As these cars become more affordable, there is always a round of new/old questions about boy racing it. The advice above is correct. Great car for what it is otherwise find a Charger Hemi.

6 speed swap and a real tune.

Or cut the BS and get an Infiniti.

Enjoy the 300hp as-is. As others have mentioned, I’d be fearful of up’ing the hp (not easily done) and would think the CVT has its stress limits.

So much concern about the Cvt totally unwarranted.
Abuse and you loose! Simple my dear Watson.

I am a Mechanical Engineer that has owned my '16 SV since new. I now have 127K miles. Yes, in the "engineering world", we add a factor of safety, so "300hp" is somewhat more than 300hp. HOWEVER-do not test this limit! The CVT is definitely the Achilles heel of this car. Oh yeah, and change the CVT fluid @ no more than 60K miles (and don't forget the antifreeze-forget the long-life BS, it lubes the water pump bearing better when it's changed more often-but don't go crazy).
