Transmission drain plug

I'm looking for the specs of the drain plug so I can get drain valve, like a Valvomax or something similar, but can't seem to find that info, at least anywhere I've looked so far. Anyone know the specs for 2016 Maxima? Thanks

Try one of these! Leave that drain plug alone!

Just looking at the finder on the Fumoto web site, the specs for one of their units compatible with a 2016 Maxima (link) have a M12-1.25 thread size.

Thanks, but they only list for the engine oil drain plug. It seem the trans plug is some kind of universal secret, can't find it anywhere.

After changing the engines oil and doing a drain and fill on the trans today I can say for sure that the trans drain plug is the same thread specs as the oil plug, which is M12-1.25.

Now if I could just take off the oil filter without making a mess, my fluid changes would be a completely joyous experience.
