2018 Platinum with the front and rear sunroof. The sun shade on the back sunroof has broken, It can be pulled closed but it retracts when I let go of it. The clip on the left is broken and there in not a clip on the right.
Has anyone had this issue? What parts were needed? How to take headliner etc. apart to get to issue?
Dealer ship got $194 to tell us it could be as much as $8000 and all the frame needed to be replaced. I have worked on cars all my life, I can fix it if I can get it apart.
Video? Manual? Pictures? Anything would help.

Were you able to fix it? Mine has just now done the same thing except its the front sunshade

 

No, I still have not been able to fix it because I think at $200 dollars is a bit pricey for 2 pieces of plastic, i found an online seller but that’s the part number for the rear sunshade cover but they also sell for the front sunshade. I think it’s a dealership website
