Vibration

Hey y’all,

I have a 2018 Max SL. 50000 miles. I know this is going to sound crazy.

I’ve been through 4 sets of brand new tires with one tire shop and still have a vibration in the front end (feels like a tire out of balance or bent rim but all of that has been looked at numerous times)

So after i lost out in $1200 of money I went and bought a set from another tire business. New master crafts and they were Installed today and the vibration is still there. That’s 5 sets. I’ve had my rims looked at twice and going again next Wednesday he repaired 2 already and said they all 4 spin what they’re supposed to be.

I’m clueless and hoping someone could give me some advice! Thanks in advance.

I would also look at the front drive shafts and CV joints. Just be sure, the vibration is from the front and not a seat of the pants shake through the seats. Also consider replacing the front struts if you are over 50 thousand miles. The wheels should be balanced statically and dynamically. Have you had this car since new?

thanks for the reply.

I bought it used with 38000. My rim guy fixed my rim but he doesn’t completely take it off the tire. He spins it on a machine, uses his torch and what not to fix it and then sees where it spins similar to factory.

My wheels and tires have been road forced as well.
